Introduction to ISO 15614 and 9606
This course has been developed for Engineers, RWC and Welders who wish to understand the latest European Standards for welding procedure qualification (BS EN ISO 15614) and welder qualification (BS EN ISO 9606).
The course will cover these standards in detail, explaining how welding procedures and welder qualifications are developed, including aspects of mechanical testing and non-destructive testing (NDT), and how essential variables influence their application.
In-class practical exercises will demonstrate how to construct and review these procedures
Students will be provided with a editable qualification template to use during and after the course.

End of course examination - 30 Question multiple choice - 70% pass mark
Students who fail to make the pass mark on their first attempt will be provided with feedback and pointers before they attempt a resit interview.
