Carbon Arc signs contract with LRQA for the provision of Welding Procedure and Welder Qualifications

We are delighted to announce that Carbon Arc, has signed a contract with a global certification body, LRQA-CASL (A member of the LRQA Group), for the certification of Welding Procedures (WPQRs) and Welder Qualifications (WPQs). This contract will enable Carbon Arc to offer its customers a high-quality and reliable service that meets the international standards and regulations required across industry.

The LRQA Group is a well-known and respected organization that provides independent assurance and certification services to a large variety of industrial sectors. LRQA-CASL has extensive experience and expertise in welding and fabrication and has been accredited by the Irish National Accreditation Board and the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to deliver welding procedure and personal certification services, both of which are signatories to the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).

By partnering with LRQA-CASL, Carbon Arc will benefit from the knowledge and experience they have in the fields of joining certification and this arrangement further demonstrates Carbon Arc’s commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The contract is focussed on the certification of Welding Procedures (WPQRs) and Welder Qualifications (WPQs), which are essential documents that specify the welding parameters, methods, and techniques to be used for a specific welding project. These documents provide the industry with the required evidence that the welding process and personnel meet the required specifications and quality criteria specified in the applicable codes and standards.
